The varsity volleyball girls claimed two more victories this week. A trip to Kosciusko County resulted in a 25-10, 25-7, 25-5 win over the KCHE Eagles Tuesday. Last night, the Couriers fell to Lakeland Christian 27-25 in the first game but recovered to take the next three games 25-21, 26-24 and 26-24. The Couriers rallied from a 21-18 deficit in the third game.
The JV swept two games each at KCHE and at home versus LCA. Three matches into the season, the JV has yet to lose a match (3-0) or a game (6-0).
The 7-1 varsity returns home for two games next weekend. They host Keystone after the junior high's season opener Friday. The Goshen Home Ed. Blue Blazers visit Heritage Middle School for JV and varsity contests Saturday.
