Karmen H. drives a kill past a Titan opponent.The varsity Couriers volleyball team opened the 2007 season by placing second at the Trinity Invitational August 17 and 18. They went 3-0 to win their pool before losing to Faith Christian in the championship.
The Couriers moved to 5-1 with a 25-9, 25-17, 25-12 win over the Trinity Titans in South Bend Friday. Senior Kayla M. led in aces, kills and assists. The Couriers play tonight at KCHE in Warsaw and host Lakeland Christian Thursday at 6:00.
New coach Kim Y. was rewarded with her first coaching win as the JV downed Trinity in two games in their season opener.
