GOSHEN (Fri., Jan. 30, 2009) - Jordan Bontrager and Dustin Yoder both tallied 13 points as the Couriers beat the Lakeland Christian Cougars 47-29.Jarod Franklin tallied 12 points from the Cougars (6-11), who have scored 29 points in each of their three games against the Couriers this year.
Evan Stutzman reached double digits again with 12 points for the Couriers.
Matthew Beiler and Justin Stutzman scored 11 points each while Judson Yoder and Justin Horst both recorded 10 in the Couriers 50-29 victory in the JV contest. The JV improved to 10-1.
With their 10th win of the season, the varsity Couriers (10-8) recorded a double-digit win season for 18th straight season. Since 1991-92, the program's worst record is a 12-12 campaign in 1995-96.
