Jimmies trip Couriers - again

As a Jimtown player prepares to return the

ball, the Couriers set up their defense.

For the seventh time in seven matches, the Jimtown Jimmies (12-9) vanquished the Couriers, this time in four games. The Couriers rallied from 25-23 and 25-16 losses in the first two games to take the third game 25-22. They could not hold on to a 2-0 lead in the fourth game and dropped the game 25-21.



The Couriers were in upset mode at 10-10 in the first game of the JV match before succumbing 25-16 in the first game. Coach Shaunte William's Jimmies took game two 25-10 to sweep to victory.



Tomorrow, the Couriers (20-3) make a four-hour trek to Shekinah Christian in Plain City, Ohio. They face Faith Christian of Wilmot, Ohio at noon and the hosts at 1 p.m. in a three-way match. Shekinah plays in Division IV of the Ohio State Athletic Association (OHSAA) and has received votes in the weekly poll at least once this season.



The JV takes their 7-2 record to Community Baptist next Tuesday.
